The one we find the best and quickest is..
Leave Galway in the direction of Ennis and Limerick until you get to Gort(35mins). In Gort turn right in the direction of Corofin(30mins). The roads are quite narrow this way. In Corofin go in the direction, Ennistymon(25mins) or Miltown Malbay. From Ennistymon take the directions to Lahinch.

From Dublin (4 hours+)

Usually the best way from Dublin to Lahinch is via Limerick. See directions from Limerick for this.

Alternatively if you have a map… On the road south from Dublin to limerick, probably 30 minutes before you would arrive in Limerick, there is a turn right to Broadford (you will need to look at a map). Taking this road towards a crossroads before Tulla, then turning left (west) will save you having to pass through Limerick town, which may save you an hour on your journey. The road is quite narrow initially but the stretch that goes from Tulla to Ennis is very good. This road brings you to Ennis, see directions from Ennis to Lahinch above.
