Click Here For Teen Camp Info In 2004, we branched out and formed the Spanish Point Surf School. In 2007 we are spreading our wings even further to form the Kilkee/ Doonbeg Surf School. All our children's programs are educational and outrageous, bodacious, awe inspiring, fun. Beware!! Surfing is highly addictive!! Surf Camp Lessons : 5 Days - Monday to Friday 2 Hour lesson each day Ages 9 to 16 Starts every Monday of School Holidays Lesson times are tide dependent and change every day

Graduation On Fridays our now pro-kids graduate getting a 'Surf-tificate'!
Super Groms Kids Camp (Age 6-8) You're never too young to learn, so get them in early! In the summer we run separate kids camps for 6-8 year olds. Groups are limited to a maximum of 5 kids. (Note this lesson is not always suitable – Super Grom lessons can only be held when sea and weather conditions are calm).
What to bring : We provide the equipment – wetsuit, surfboard. Kids need to bring their swimming togs, towel and a smile! (We do provide some summer boots, but many parents prefer to BUY A PAIR OF KIDS SUMMER BOOTS, which WE RECOMMEND strongly). What if the conditions do not suit? Unfortunately some days the waves are too wild for our young ones – high winds bring stormy seas. In Lahinch we bring the children into Seaworld for a surfing DVD, if a room is available. We withhold the right to cancel surf lessons when we feel conditions are not suitable. In Lahinch, on these days we try to show a surfing DVD to the children in Seaworld if a room is available, instead of doing a surf lesson. If more days are cancelled we provide a refund. A day that is cancelled by Lahinch Surf School or by the parents CAN NOT BE USED ON A DIFFERENT week. One days notice must be given for cancellations. Refunds are made on the following basis: 5 days cancelled €110 refunded, 4 days cancelled €75 refund, 3 days cancelled €45 refund, 2 days cancelled €25 refund, 1 day cancelled €10 refund.
When are the kids camps cranking?
The fun begins once the school closes! Easter, summer and Halloween. The first kids camp of the summer kicks on the 12th of June 2006. Thereafter we will have camps running throughout the summer until September. Easter camps run from during Easter School Hols. Summer Kids Camp Special Offer

Lahinch – The Beach Hut Spanish Point Beach - Located just 13 kilometers, 15 minutes south of Lahinch, and Miltown Malbay. This beach is often much quieter than Lahinch and there is a slightly more chilled atmosphere. We have a new sprog! Kilkee - Doonbeg Surf School (mobile location) You can check updated info on our kilkee page. Kilkee is a popular seaside holiday village, 13 kilometers from Kilrush in the south of County Clare. This camp begins in Kilkee where on mondays we do paddle practise in Kilkee Beach. From Tuesday till Friday we move to Doonbeg, for the real pro surfing! After check-in the first days surfing is always spent at the beach of Kilkee regardless of the wave condition. Over the following four days Tuesday to Friday, parents, children and the instructors meet up in Kilkee and drive in convoy to most prefered beach. It is very important to be punctual on these days. No transport is provided so parents must drive their children to the mobile location. We choose between Doonbeg Golf Course Beach and White Strand (just south of Doonbeg) depending upon wave, wind and tide conditions. If the waves are too large in Doonbeg the lessons will be held at White Strand just south of Doonbeg or at Kilkee Beach. Qualifications and Safety: The objective is to teach surfing in a fun and a safe a manner as is possible. • All our instructors are Irish Surfing Association Approved Coaches, Irish Water Safety Approved Beach lifeguards and wicked surfers. More importantly they are patient and caring teachers of the art of surfing. • Under ISA regulations there is a maximum of 8 children for each of our qualified instructors. • All lessons are held in waist deep water so your children do not have to be strong swimmers. Kids should be confident in the water. • Kids are supervised both in and out of the water ISA Approved: In 2005 we became the first surf school in County Clare to become Irish Surfing Association Approved. To date we remain the only school to have this stamp of approval in Lahinch. How much does it cost?

To book simply just email us or call us stating which week your children would like to surf. A mobile phone number is all that is required. We will be taking bookings for summer from the 15 th of April. On booking you will be given a group number. The Sunday evening before your camp call the selected surf school after 7pm. A voice mail will confirm each group number and the corresponding lesson time. Make sure to check the lesson times for each day as lesson times change daily with the tide and are rarely the same. Check in and lesson times: CHECK-IN AND PAYMENT is done 5 minutes before lesson time on the Monday. Payment can be made by cash or cheque made out to 'Lahinch Surf School'.
