The first, the most hardcore, the run by real surfers, the ISA Affiliated, the original Lahinch Surf School is located at the beach hut on Lahinch promenade. You can see the photo of the hut at the end of the page
Find the Lifeguards towers on the beach and walk a further 100m. On the opposite side of the road you will find our well sign-posted beach hut. This is not to be confused with our postal address. All the action happens at the beach!
The town of Lahinch is located in the mid west of Ireland in County Clare, 2km west of the town of Ennistymon. Lahinch is a seaside tourist town with a lot of charm. Lahinch Surf School is ideally located offering the closest surfing from the towns of Limerick, Ennis and Galway and with good access from Dublin and Shannon.

In certain conditions we will move the surf lessons to another beach.
Here are the beaches we sometimes use and the maps pf their locations.
Doonbeg Golf Course Beach (Doughmore)
Spanish Point Beach
White Strand - Doonbeg directions:
· Leaving Lahinch heading south, Drive in directions of Miltown Malbay or Spanish Point.
· Arriving in Miltown Malbay turn Right down the main street, turning right at the fork at the end of the main street. Follow direction for kilkee.
· Drive through Quilty town, (which is 3ish miles south of Miltown Malbay).
· 2 or 3 miles south of Quilty there is a main turn right in direction of Kilkee and Doonbeg Golf course, turn right here.
· About 2 miles south of Doonbeg Golf Course is Doonbeg village. Immediately after the big church take the turn right.
· About 2 miles down that road the road stops at a T junction. Take the turn right down the hill to the little beach.
· Tip: Avoid the 1st turn right into the pier on the last section:)

Creg Beach directions:
· Leaving Lahinch heading south, Drive in directions of Miltown Malbay or Spanish Point.
· 1km outside of Lahinch you will pass the "Ocean View Caravan park" which is adjacent to the road on the left.
· 200m past that there is a bad bend that goes 90degrees Left.
· The beach on the bend is Creg Beach.
· Tip: Don't try park or stop on the bend, drive past and loop back when safe. You may need to park opposite the campsite and walk down.
